Tank Symbols
Here is a screenshot of the tank symbol library in Edraw. You will find a great range of vector P&ID tank shapes, containing air tank, batch tank, air cylinder, hopper, liquid storage drum, reactor, silo with ladder, tank with hatch, tank support, tank with rivets, hot water storage, underground storage tank, etc.
Air Cylinder is a cylinder containing air, especially one fitted with a piston and used for damping purposes.
Air tank is used for storing compressed air to operate pneumatic equipment.
Bolt is a cylindrical threaded fastener.
Pressure Vessel is a closed container designed to hold gases or liquids at a pressure substantially different from the ambient pressure.
How to Use Tank Symbols
This set of symbols are included in Industrial Automation category of the symbol library. When you start a Environmental P&ID drawing template, the symbol library will open automatically. You can drag a required shape from the library and drop onto the canvas.
The shapes you've got are vector graphics, which are highly editable.
Shape Scalable
Shapes can be scaled up or down in size while keeping high clarity. There is no blur image anymore.
Color Changeable
If the current color could not fit your theme, you can freely change filling colors.
Tips:
- To change the filling color for a part of a shape, first you need to select the sub shape. Click on the sub shape you want to change color for a few times until it is successfully selected (there will be a blue selection frame), then you can change this sub shape with a new color, and with other parts unchanged.
- Or you can ungroup the shape first (go to Home menu, and click Ungroup button), and change the color for any sub shape freely.
Shape Separable
Each shape is combined with many sub shapes. You are able to pull out drawing components to make new symbols. To do this, first you need to click Ungroup button to ungroup the shape.
